Subscriber Value = (Total Monthly Revenue from Email / Total Subscribers) x 12.
This metric helps you determine how much you can afford to pay to acquire a new lead (CPL).

HOW THE VALUATION LOGIC WORKS (TRANSPARENCY)
No black box logic. The math is simple and traceable.
Step 1. Estimate Clicks per Email
Clicks per email = Subscribers × Click Rate (%)
This estimates how many people you drive from inbox to site per campaign.
Step 2. Estimate Sales per Email
Sales per email = Clicks × Website Conversion Rate (%)
This estimates how many purchases or conversions one email produces.
Step 3. Estimate Revenue per Email
Revenue per email = Sales × Average Order Value
This is your expected revenue output per campaign.
Step 3. Current vs Potential Revenue
Current monthly revenue is calculated using your current frequency.
Then we calculate potential monthly revenue using a benchmark frequency:
- DTC/E-commerce benchmark: 8 emails/month
- Coaching/B2B benchmark: 4 emails/month
If you already email at or above the benchmark, the tool assumes frequency is not your bottleneck and shifts focus to improving CTR/AOV.
Step 5. Annual Asset Value and Value per Subscriber
Potential annual value = Potential monthly × 12 Value per subscriber per year = Annual value ÷ Subscribers
This is your email list’s estimated asset value under a realistic optimized cadence.
